David Pellow

I am a Schmidt AI in Science postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto interested in using machine learning to improve the delivery of healthcare. I am part of the Transplant AI Initiative at the University Health Network, working on improving outcomes for liver transplant patients.

Before joining the Schmidt program, I was funded by a Vector Institute for AI fellowship and I am a research affiliate of UHN.
Prior to my current position I spent time as a postdoc in the Segal Lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science using machine learning to identify biomarkers for disease. My PhD is from Tel Aviv University, supervised by Ron Shamir.
